Hello World!

Valerie GreenAre you in love? If you are asking yourself this question, it’s obviously a possibility. If you want to know for sure, take a glance at the following checklist to see how many of the following love signs you are seeing.

You get butterflies in your stomach. When people first starting dating, you may hear them say they have butterflies in their stomach. The truth is that what they are experiencing is the jitters because, like the creatures themselves, butterflies take some time to develop. Even after you’ve dated someone for a long time and the jitters stop, the butterflies are still there. It’s when they are no longer there that it’s time to worry, but you know you’re in love whenever they’re around.

When you think about the future, you envision him/her in it. If someone asked you how you see your life in 5 or 10 years from now? What’s the first thought that comes into your mind and, more importantly, who is there with you? If you foresee a future with your current partner, you may be in love.

After a difficult day, he/she makes everything seem better. Whether you’ve had a difficult day at work or just feel awful for whatever reason, your love interest should be able to make you forget about everything. If all of the bad goes right out the window when you’re together, take comfort in knowing that you’re in love.

You think of your sweetheart

’s needs before your own. Selflessness is one of the single best examples of love because it shows that you are putting the other person first. This doesn’t mean that you forget about everything that’s important to you, but it does mean that you keep your partner’s interests at heart and always do what you can to make them happy.

Several days apart feel like an eternity. Do you miss your mate when work gets in the way or a vacation has the two of you temporarily apart? If you can’t wait to get back just to hear their voice, see their smile or find out what he/she is doing, you’re in love.

When you think of him/her or say their name, you can’t stop smiling. Ok, this is the true test of love. How many times have you watched as people talk about their significant other and a smile suddenly crosses their face? When this happens, what do you think? It’s obvious, they are in love with their mate and if you cannot stop smiling when speaking about your sweetheart, you too are in love.

You feel loved when you are together. What makes us fall in love with someone? Is it their kind heart, honesty or because we just feel unexplainably happy when together? One of the most attractive characteristics about someone is their ability to make us feel loved, cherished and appreciated. If you feel all of this when you are with your mate, love is definitely in the air.

Outdoor Weddings - The Practical Things that Allow an Outdoor Wedding to be Magical

Not that an outdoor wedding is at all like a bicycle ride, but the long trip I took yesterday reminded me of all the little things you need to think about. When I started riding, soaking in the spring sunshine, I was glad for short sleeves and lots of cold water, but by the end I needed two sweaters in the chilly night air. When you're getting married, you want your guests to be thinking about how romantic and beautiful everything is rather than how hot or cold they are, or the pesky mosquitoes around them. So when you ride away on your bicycle built for two (or, more likely, in a fancy car) you'll be thankful you planned ahead.

Weekend Wedding Ceremonies

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, three beautiful days of weekend that we all want to come back while we drink our Monday morning coffee.
On Friday, May 8, the weekend started with another blue-blood wedding for royal watchers to enjoy: Count Bjoern Bernadotte’s Wedding.
Count Bjorn Bernadotte of Wisborg married his girlfriend of five years, Swiss-born Sandra Angerer, in a religious ceremony on his family’s estate on the island of Mainau, which sits in the middle of Germany’s Lake Constance. The Count proposed to Sandra on his June 13 birthday last year, after first getting permission from Sandra’s father, and a civil ceremony took place on April 25th. The religious ceremony took place at the estate Schlosskirche St Marien (St Marien’s Palace Church) in front of the groom’s blue-blood family, including Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden; the bride’s family and the couple’s friends.
The 31-year-old bride, who met his Prince in shinny armor five years ago while studying in Switzerland, was absolutely radiant in a classic, empire-waisted floor-length round-necked white gown by Swiss designer Eva Michaela Fröhli. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and lilies of the valley. She was attended by four flower girls in white and pastel pink wearing garlands of blossoms in their hair.
Following the ceremony the newlyweds hosted a wedding ball attended by Bjorn’s relatives, including Princess Victoria of Sweden. Ready to be carved up and distributed among the guests was a large square wedding cake adorned with icing sugar roses and, in German, the message: “To the happy couple, all the best and good luck.”
The celebrations continued with a garden concert in memory of Bjorn’s mother, Countess Sonja, who passed away last year.
The newlywed couple intends on living on the family’s estate of Mainau, where along with his siblings, Björn manages the island and the Lennart Bernadotte Foundation.

On Saturday, May 9, Westlife’s Kian Egan and Jodi Albert said “I do”.
Over the years Kian Egan has reached the top of the charts 14 times as a member of the pop group Westlife. On May 8, 2009, however, the singer discovered how it felt to be on top of the world as he has tied the knot with long-time love, actress fiancée Jodi Albert in a paradise wedding in Barbados.
The couple had been enjoying a romantic Caribbean holiday with friends in the run up to their nuptials. The couple and wedding pals enjoyed the sunny resort last week ahead of the nuptials at the weekend.
Kian, who is set to perform with his group in Christchurch, New Zealand later this month, was spotted enjoying the surf and taking romantic strolls on the beach with his bride-to-be. The couple became engaged in December 2007 after almost four and a half years together.
The pair wed in a romantic ceremony on Turtle Beach at Grand House Hotel, serenaded by a gospel choir playing the joyful “Love is in the Air”, according to the Daily Star. A steel band played afterwards while guests sipped champagne. Although the groom’s father, weak from cancer treatments, was unable to take part in his son’s happiest day, he was no doubt never far from Kian Egan’s thoughts as he and his bride received well wishes from family and friends, the Herald reports.
Kian, 29, and Jodi, 25, later headed off to their reception at an exclusive mansion usually frequented by Simon Cowell when he holidays on the island.
Former Hollyoaks actress Jodi was joined by former on-screen family Ali Bastian, who played Becca Dean, and Carly Stenson, who played Steph Dean, in the Channel 4 soap.
His former band mate, Brian McFadden, is also due to wed after he announced his engagement to Australian singer Delta Goodrem following his divorce from Kerry Katona.
The happy weekend ended with a wedding vow renewal of Heidi Klum and Seal. Their initial plans to pledge their love for a fourth time in Costa Careyes, Mexico dashed due to swine flu concerns, Seal and Project Runway host Heidi Klum found a way to “make it work” by moving their marriage celebration to Malibu.
On Sunday, May 9, 2009, the pair celebrated their model union with a vow renewal ceremony at Malibu’s Broad Beach. Opting for a laughter-filled theme wedding renewal, an Elvis impersonator officiated as the bride - her veil clinging to her cornrow-styled hair - recited her vows to her mullet-wearing husband.
Pink flamingos and colored light bulbs adorned a tent wrapped in pink and white frills just off the Pacific Coast Highway.
Seal, during a sitdown last week with Oprah, said Klum planned a unique service from the start.
“We’re going to get married again, so this is going to be the fourth time, our fourth anniversary. You know what my wife’s like… she’s always got some trick up her sleeve, but it’s going to be a good get-together, you know, lots of friends,” Seal said.
Klum will deliver a little girl, her fourth child - her third with Seal, in fall. The couple was married in May, 2005, and they have renewed vows in the same location, and on the same date every year since.
